Alturas Purchases Vacant Building for Extensive Remodel Project

The Property

The Alturas Real Estate Fund purchased 2206 N. Whitley Dr. in Fruitland, Idaho (a town on the western edge of the Boise metro area).  

The building - formerly a furniture store - will undergo extensive remodeling and will be converted to a 16,000 SF call center for Global Tel Link Corp who will take occupancy in October 2019.

The Deal

Global Tel Link Corp engaged Sherry Schoen of Newmark Grubb Acres in Boise, to help them locate and secure a building that could be used as a call center near Ontario, OR.

Sherry scoured the market looking for the right building, eventually identifying this property in Fruitland. Having worked with us on previous projects and knowing our ability to see potential and make the necessary investments to realize it, Sherry brought the opportunity to our attention. 

Work began immediately on the $800,000 renovation that will convert the space into a modern call center by the end of October 2019.

The Brokers

Sherry was able to create an immense amount of value for her tenant-client by identifying this non-traditional space and coming up with a vision to redevelop it.
